The main door handle of poor quality and not even centred on the door!

The more work we do to resolve issues with the supplied 'new' machine, the more problems are exposed. Whilst fitting an internal shield to block any stray laser beam light from escaping the cabinet, it became evident that the plastic door handle was not centred on the door. Actually, this is such a basic requirement to get the correct balance to open such a large metal door. One of the M4 screws was also loose due to a poor tapping of the hole thread.

The company #Leapion laser machines - Demonstrate they have poor quality control and technicians that don't care!

The photo shows the centre position of the door indicated by the green tape. You can see the handle is off centre considerably.

Hey Just wanted to say thanks for sharing your experience. It's really helped make things clearer shopping for a CO2 laser. I nearly made a purchase with them until i saw your post on the CNC Forum. Could i ask what you would have done differently in terms of due diligence that may have helped avoid this nightmare in the first place? Or was there really no way of knowing. E.g Would you pay for 3rd party inspection before it left the factory? Also. have you managed to purchase a Laser to use now, if so was it from an alibaba store? Thanks again
