Background Information

Leapion CO2 Laser Engraver Cutter 2020 Review one customer's nightmare story of how purchasing a piece of equipment from a 'reputable' Chinese supplier via Alibaba proved to be catastrophic in many ways.  Perhaps the biggest surprise being the Chinese Manufacturer showed no interest in resolving the many problems and consistently denied there were any real problems.

As an example when they sent the wrong size replacement ball-screw parts, They said 'just polish the end'  So a 360mm stainless steel ball-screw that should have been 350mm Leapion thought was not an issue.  The fact they did not even identify the correct size to send says a lot about their poor quality control and poor customer service.  Then out of four ball-screws sent one was already damaged since the end washers were not fixed in place by grub screws and the ball bearings fell out. Again Leapion MUST have either not checked what they were sending out or more likely couldn't be bothered to check. Then one of the four ball-screws was an 'odd one out' since it had different resistance (colour identifier).  Finally, we as the customer had been very patient and waited six weeks for these replacement parts to arrive.  Having created a detailed list of parts required and for the avoidance of any doubt even included photos and measurements. We were really shocked to receive only these four ball-screws.  Since we made it very clear we were unable to remove the lower pulley's since there was damage to the retaining grub screws.

Surely, it was enough for us to have to disassemble the Z-table mechanism and swap out the damaged parts.  But oh no Leapion expected us to rebuild from the ground up and modify parts that they provided that were the wrong size to start with.
